Drama is fun! It is also a great way to develop good communication skills, teamwork, and self-confidence.
Our classes are carefully structured to cater for different age groups. Younger children, often working in small groups, will be encouraged to explore their imaginations and express themselves. They will be given time and space to be heard without the pressure to perform until they feel ready.
Children 8 - 10 yrs will
be taught basic stagecraft. This will include voice projection, timing,
verbal dynamics and the introduction of technical terminology. All Drama
Lessons will include script work, role play and structured improvisation.
For older students, classes will take the form of mini
workshops and be non curriculum based. Topics covered will be similar to other
classes but at a deeper level and will challenge individuals to push their
own boundaries at their own level and pace. We offer live performance
opportunities for all age groups.
